Experience:

Brittany first worked as a physical therapy aide, then completed clinical rotations within the acute care, skilled nursing and outpatient settings before choosing outpatient orthopedic physical therapy as her primary passion. She has been an outpatient orthopedic physical therapist since 2022.

According to Brittany:

“What appears to be a setback may be setting the stage for something grander. Injury recovery cultivates resilience. Trust the rehabilitation process and trust in your therapy team.”

On a personal note:

Brittany was born and raised in Biloxi, Mississippi. She grew up down South with seafood boils and Mardi Gras season. She received an academic and athletic scholarship that initiated her transition to Seattle, Washington. She was an NCAA collegiate gymnast and performed at least three of the four events. However, the uneven bars and floor exercise were always her favorite. Her gymnastics background contributes to her passion for body alignment, body awareness, form, technique, safety and fall prevention as well as overcoming injury and being a part of a team which made physical therapy a great occupation for her. When she is not working, she loves spending time with her husband and their yellow labrador retriever named Hoagie. She and her husband love to attend social gatherings with family members and friends, meet new people, explore the city, cook together and/or try new restaurants, and exercise. Brittany also has three sisters and loves coffee.
