Our Mission
Anchor Physical Therapy is about so much more than treating physical pain. We want to make sure that every single patient who walks through our doors knows that they matter in this world and they will be treated like gold from the second they step foot in our clinic. If you have a heart for the underserved and want to learn from others as much as you want them to learn from you, then we would love to get to know you more. Our staff has a blast together, because we respect each other and serve together and genuinely care about the lives of those in our community.
Atmosphere
We are a family-owned business. You will never be just a number with us. Our staff is like an extension of our own family. We love doing events together. Everything from bowling to baseball games to surprise staff coffees and treats is part of our culture. Work-life balance is definitely a priority with us! Feel free to check out our staff reviews on Indeed (not visible on your mobile, so go to a desktop) and all of our great patient reviews on our Facebook page and Google.
Mentoring for New Grads
We offer an extensive mentoring program for all new physical therapy grads that includes (but is not limited to) weekly one-on-one time with the company owner and live experiences in the OR.

Working at Anchor Physical Therapy
Why We Are Different
Anchor Physical Therapy began in 2008 as a small, family-owned practice in Tacoma, Washington. While we have steadily grown since then, we have not lost the warm, friendly, and personal relationships that exist between our staff and the patients we serve. We’re pretty convinced we have the best outpatient clinic to work for in Washington.
Yes, we offer amazing salaries and benefits, but here’s what makes us stand out even more; our clinic has been voted “Best in the South Sound” for multiple years since 2013 and our company owner and lead PT has received numerous awards for clinic management. His top priorities of patient care and happy employees make Anchor Physical Therapy a fun and rewarding place to be for both our staff and patients. We value work/life balance and love when our staff thrives both in the office and at home.
As a practice committed to helping patients heal and regain their freedom, we are always accepting resumes from those therapy and administrative staff who pride themselves on accepting new challenges and who have a strong desire to help others. Our staff must share our drive, compassion, and enthusiasm for helping the patients we serve.
What Our Staff Has to Say
“Working at Anchor PT is a dream job for me. I go to work every day energized and excited about the clients I will be seeing as well as the outstanding staff with whom I am privileged to work. The positive vibe created by our leader, Ross, is what fuels the fire for a fantastic atmosphere for quality physical therapy and teamwork.”
— Mychal, Physical Therapist Assistant
“I’ve worked here at Anchor for over 5 years now. It’s been an amazing experience and I am thankful to have found Anchor. For me, the level of patient care is something that really stands out. Anchor only does PT with one-on-one treatments. There is a great atmosphere at Anchor with a focus on teamwork, support, and camaraderie. There are many PT clinics out there, but the staff and the leadership here are what make Anchor special.”
— Britney Fischer, Physical Therapy Assistant
“The people are great (staff and clients), the environment is awesome, and so is the boss. I have worked in a variety of environments over the years and I have only recently had the privilege of working under someone who is very consistently positive and energetic. I see how you always make an effort to build up both staff and clients. It creates an overall positive outlook for all of us. Thanks for allowing me to be part of Anchor PT.”
— Gigi Taylor, Massage Therapist
Your clinic morale is top notch! Everyone is happy and friendly – my kind of people.
— Tara Morris, Physical Therapy Assistant
